Pay the writer - Harlan Ellison

I think I’ve read just about everything he’s written. Harlan Ellison is an amazing writer, and a crotchety pain in the ass too. But I love him. Did I mention he’s an atheist?

There are people who create and people who consume. He creates I consume. Those stuck in the middle don’t count.

Like you, Mojoey, I also am a huge fan of Ellison. His "crotchetyness" is always entertaining to me. ;-)

His short story collection "Shatterday" was the first book of short stories that I ever read cover to cover... in order. Actually, I think all of his short story collections have been the only ones I've read cover to cover.
