The sheer number of blogs is overwhelming as every few months I have to remaster the list of blogs one by one in my feed reader and the search engine (just to keep things accurate). It was fine and dandy (lol) when there were only a couple hundred to contend with but as the list is growing and set to break one thousand I'm thinking that a group effort would be splendid in monitoring these blogs.
I am completely open to suggestions...completely. As it stands I've created a "toolkit" a while back whereby I keep my notes regarding the Atheist Blogroll blogs. Don't mind the mess; It's become quite cluttered.

I've also thought about creating a wiki exclusively geared toward your blogroll. For instance; having entries for each blog on the blogroll describing the content, history on the blogroll (even those that have been removed and reasons therein) and activity of these blogs. Somewhat of a clearinghouse description of all the blogs on Mojoey's Athiest Blogroll. I'm not entirely sure how much interest this would garner (for contributors). Those on the blogroll would be able to access their wiki entry and make modifications or suggestions as to their status on the blogroll.
On a personal note; I can not emphasize enough how much I rely on the blogroll to get pertinent information from fellow atheist bloggers by subscribing to their feeds via my feed reader through the blogroll.
And it's not so much about that. I've come to the conclusion that (by discovering that certain blogs have issues) I feel the need to notify these bloggers about the technical issues concerning their blogs (as far as their rss and atom feeds) and to help them in anyway that I possibly can in reaching out and getting their message out in such a way as syndication. But as I stated above it's become quite tedious when the number of blogs is growing so vastly that it's becoming a bit overwhelming.
I'm happy to announce that on several occasions I have done just that. Where certain blogs were lacking an rss feed altogether I've helped to notify the blogger of this issue and brought it to their attention when it was probably not even a consideration to check that they had a proper and functioning rss feed.
This is not to toot my own horn; but to emphasize the fact that rss syndication is highly important to get ones message out there (at least for me it is).
I don't know if I ever thanked you for the Atheist Blogroll but my hat's off to you my friend!
