How to spot an Atheist at a wedding

I saw this on Reddit and thought I would share. It brings back some old memories. How to spot an Atheist at a wedding.

His is my posture during nearly every public function here in East Texas, where there must be prayer on every occasion. Once in a while I spot someone else looking around, too. I wonder if they are trying to spot an ally or are on the lookout for infidels?

depends whether they are holding a gun or not?
Very good! That's me, during every public prayer I am forced to sit through.
Ditto here. Head up. Quiet and respectful, but no head bowing. :-)

At my family's big dinners(Thankstaking day, Pagan-bunny- stealing day-, and winter solstice aka christmas) my family always has to hold hands and pray.I refuse to hold hands like a child and refuse to bow so they always reach around me in the cirlcle. Two or three of my aunts usually poke their heads up and hiss at me (we're Mexican) to put my head down while making violent nodding gestures.

Naturally, they've decided I'm the anti-christ.
Oh gosh, so me at all my Christian friend's weddings. The worst part is having to do it a couple of times during the ceremony what with all the standing and sitting and standing for prayer and worship music etc. etc. - AND in full view of a camera videotaping the whole thing.

Sore thumb. Eish.
