It seems the local Christians don't like the competition from area Pagans. I wonder how they would feel if an Atheist group sponsored a holiday "there are no gods" party?
Should an atheist be concerned about religious flyers coming home in the weekly school info packet? As a separation of church and state issue - yes. As a personal preference - its pretty harmless and not really worth the effort to confront.
