Former Republican Majority Leader Dick Army took direct aim at James Dobson. Calling Dobson and "his gang of thugs" to account for their bullying and hard core political tactics. Army singled out the Terry Schiavo case:That was pure, blatant pandering to James Dobson. That’s all it was. It was silly, stupid, and irresponsible. Nobody serious about the Constitution would do that. But the question was will this energize our Christian conservative base for the next election.Army's message is clear, stop the evangelical attack on the constitution by voting Dobson's anointed crew out of office. Army is on target with his "move the GOP towards the center" message. IMHO - it is time to move towards the center. The conservative Christian reign of error must end soon. If not through the actions of moderate Republicans, then through the actions of a dissatisfied electorate that will vote Democrat.
