Public Art In Cerritos

Posted by: mojoey

Cerritos has an ambitions plan to populate its public spaces with sculptures. This is the latest example, Lillith in bronze by Rosalind Cook. It sits in front of yet another Starbucks on the corner of Del Amo and Pioneer. I'll take some close-ups when the lighting is better.

I understand that Cerritos has commissioned over a dozen sculptures for a planned sculpture garden near the civic center. I hope they allow greater latitude with the concepts than your standard bronze sculpture. Know what I mean?
