Youth pastor Robert Stoner arrested

RobertStonerA 15-year-old girl was found walking home from the house of her youth pastor where she alleges Robert Stoner raped her while his children slept in the next room. Stoner admitted to the crime.

Stoner was brought to police headquarters, where he acknowledged having intercourse several times in his home "in the living room on the couch while his son was asleep," police said in court records.

Investigators spoke with the victim, who said she and Stoner had had sex about six times between Feb. 1 and Friday.

I don’t get it. What drives a man to rape a child? What drives a pastor to rape a child? And what kind of idiot mother allows her daughter to go to the home of a youth pastor unsupervised? By now the whole world should know that allowing a pastor unsupervised access to a child is a bad idea.

Stoner is the youth pastor at Miracle Temple Holy Church. I’m betting it’s a nondenominational church with few internal controls.

How about you ask me to my face what happened because i was that girl and he didnt RAPE me you fucken liars is was with my consent! I know im late but finally being able to speak out dont judge something by what you get on the news! The twisted my words around, it was NOT rape! And i snuck out so stop talking about my damn mother! i snuck out to see him obviously there was age difference. I was angry and didnt care about anything and i wanted to do what i wanted to do! it was a mistake big time! but again know the whole damn story before you go judging!

Except at a ministers house the Bible, and rape for snacks . I know that not all preachers are sexual type rapist . Most are even worse ! Those that rape the minds of young children filling they're hearts with lies,hatred,superstition,ignorance,and fear are just as bad almost? the damage to brain is a scar that may never heal.

14-year-old girls cannot consent to sex. It's rape by definition, even if the victim wanted it. As a child, you are not capable of making adult decisions, and as a child, you make dumb decisions. That there is a law to protect the young, and in your case it worked.

Instead of casting the first stone at this minister or any perpetrator, I am more concerned about catharsis for their victims and circumventing pedophilia and pederasty. Albeit "nobody's perfect" child sexual abuse is an epidemic in the USA. Yet, whenever adults sweep these moral issues under the rug, men like Jerry Sandusky continue to prey upon America's youths via our shameful conspiracy of silence. Thus, I strongly encourage parents, coaches, and other conscientious adults to get a copy of a profound textbook in sex education, "Child Molestation, Incest, or Neither?" [ISBN 978-1-4675-5868-6]. Despite the majority of adults not wanting to discuss this issue, WE can't fix it IF we can't face it.
