Pastor Kenneth Kleckner arrested

I love it when the cops pull a potential sexual predator off the streets. The get bonus points when it’s a pastor. Pastor Kenneth Kleckner of Ocala West United Methodist Church was arrested for soliciting a minor.

Pastor Kleckner should know not to use the internet to find underage sexual partners. There’s always a chance it’s going to be officer Fred posing as 14-year-old Sally. How many more pastors will fall to this temptation?

Investigators from SOS said Kleckner had an online relationship for the last month with a person he believed was a juvenile girl. That “girl” was actually an SOS detective.

"He stated that, I guess you could say, quote, that he got caught up in it. He started engaging in the chat and it just started to lead that way to him," said Detective Philip Graves, Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Pastor Kleckner has a wife and four kids. Did you hear that toilet flush? It was your life slipping into the sewer…

Of course, the whole "I was led that way" is just his way of saying he was tempted by the Devil. He would have never had an online relationship with a 14-year old girl, if it hadn't been for demons leading him astray. These are the same people who decry the "culture of irresponsibility". You can't get much more irresponsible than letting a bunch of angels and demons lead you around by the nose.

i know keven he was set up i must say , this man has a love for kids,and his wife and he is a really good man. he he a man of god and it sucks cops have to make stuff up to get a promotion or make them selfs look good in the eye of the media.

Wow! That was quick. I wasn't expecting someone to justify his pedophilia so quickly. Angel, are you saying he didn't do it, or that he was justified in starting a relationship with a 14-year old because he was enticed by the cops? No matter how you parse it, he thought he was soliciting an underage girl.

I have no doubt that he's a man of God. It's becoming more and more clear that men of God have a propensity toward pedophilia. I'm starting to think that it's just part of the job.

I find it interesting that someone can pass so much judgment from a sensationalized news story from the ......Ocala Star Banner. Now that's a publication worth following.

You call your blog "Deep Thoughts", quote Emerson, and "love it". Hmm. Consider the title "Resentful small thoughts from a frustrated and angry "man" ??? Have you read Emerson?

Pastor Kleckner has convicted himself with his own statements. We're just along for the ride. If he is acquitted I'll be the first to apologize, although I won't be holding my breath.

Ok you are writing you little blogs and are forgetting that he has children that have to deal with jerks like you talking about their father. We all make mistakes and some bigger than others. His family is one of the best I have ever met. You sit up here and post your blogs and have no clue what really happen just what you read in the paper. P.S. newspapers usually don't have all the facts. Plus calling Ocala "Podunk" when you yourself have never lived here is just showing your lack of understanding. Ocala is made for young families to raise their children. Think about the kids for a minute that had nothing to do with this and are having to read "deep thoughts" (or lack there of) about there father. Grow up and learn some respect for others.

Actually I don't go to their church. I work at the school where one of his children go and she actually told me about this website because she googled her father. You all assume (you know what they say about assuming) I go to their church, which is a no. I see this poor girl crying daily because she is teased about her father. Last time I checked we didn't pick our parents, she got the raw end of the deal and it is NOT fair to her or her brothers and sisters what they are going through. It doesn't help to have idiots like you all expressing hatred to a man you never met. You don't give a damn about anyone else and you stand behind your 1st Amendment right to free speech when all reality you spray your negative words and on a blog that I had to go through about 20 pages on Google to find... (that means you’re not important). Yes the kids have read the newspaper and see the "story" about their dad but, they should not have to read a blog that has countless spelling and grammatical errors, as they are already dealing with a tough time anyway. You all have played judge and jury yet there has been no trial yet and you have not heard all the facts.

You want to call me a liar? If you type in "Ocala pastor arrested" then after 20 pages your blog doesn't come up so I added his last name, and then your page comes up. So again you are wrong and I am not a liar. I searched the exact way the daughter and other children told me how they found your blog. Next, how is someone supposed to trust your blog as credible when it is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors? These are errors even a 3rd grader would know needs to be taken care of before something would be turned in or “published”. I do like how you never explain how it is ok for YOUR blog to make a young girl cry. Young children are impressionable and with a blog like this you are hurting a young innocent girl. You never answered why should she be laughed at, made fun of, cruelly abused, etc. so you can "get the information out there" and “speak your mind”.Tthese young kids will be accidental "casualty" of your negative speech on a man you don't know and a man they call dad.

You all are idiots who probably have no contact with children of the middle school age. They would wade through 20 pages if they are vindictive enough to want to hurt someone. Yes, because the child trusted me, she did come to tell me what was going on because she knew I would help her. Yes, she didn’t know how to look her father up correctly because unlike you guys she doesn’t tow through the internet to find criminals. She was unaware that you need a name but, the other kids told her about your “blog”. No, why would you want to take responsibility for your own actions! That is what the internet has come down to you can say whatever you want and take no responsibility. We have taken care of the kids who tease her, we have a zero tolerance policy on bullying and everything a student bullies they are suspend 1 day out of school and at the end of 10 they will be place in an alternative placement school. She understands what her dad did was wrong but, she doesn’t understand why people who do not know anything about the situation is talking about her dad in such a horrible manner when all they have read is the newspaper article that doesn’t have all the information.

Plus, not all the kids read this “blog” and I never said that. I don’t feel the need to attack anyone, I thought that if I brought to your attention the pain you are causing this young girl you might tone your information down. On the comment about the next dad, the mother will never remarry she is too upset about what has happened to ever remarry. There will be a next dad. Some women are strong enough to be a single mom and raise their kids without men.

I love that you have several software malfunctions since I look at your blog. Next, countless times of pointing out spelling and grammatical errors you all seem to get it mostly right. Next, I DO NOT go to that church, I attend The Church at the Springs not the church that Mr. Kleckner was the pastor of. Just because you feel my beliefs are foolish does not mean they are. Does that make millions of people foolish as well for believing in God??? Or is it just you? Jesus would have a capital letter for being the name of a person; if you do not believe in him then you should not use his name. I have never lied once in my post.
