Pastor Delbert Thigpen arrested

Can you really be arrested for giving a teen a backrub? I think the answer is yes under certain conditions. There must be more to this story.

Police say a 15 year old girl claimed 76 year old Delbert Thigpen, touched her inappropriately. Thigpen is the pastor of St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Pastor Thigpen admitted to the crime.

"After she massaged my back I figured I would massage her back. He told me that," she said. (She being an unnamed witness)

Pastor Thigpen is 76. I’m guessing his preaching days are over. He is the pastor for St. George Pentecostal Holiness Church. I wonder how long that will last?

The girls "offered" to help around house to make some money, because they were poor and on the street. He was trying to be nice and said he would pay them some money for helping clean the house. Everyone needs to wake up. They are conartists that need to shot from trying to ruin someones life.

This is the same reason people are not nice to strangers. Why? because they try to take advantage of someone.

Here is the item that I read in "The Item" with a DIRECT QUOTE:
St. George Police Chief Anthony Britt said Thursday that Thigpen confessed to his actions. "He admitted that he did it, but he said he didn't mean to do it,"

once again i will say this.. the media makes it appear that a defendent is guilty before proven innocent! this man has never been in any trouble his whole life! the only thing he is guilty of is being nice to trash that walks the street. when you are a man of god you treat all people equal and he was just trying to help, but you know unfortunately in a poor town and county such as dorchester county there are people like these teenage girls whom are trying to find a way to get a innocent man in trouble and get some publicity! i am sure a civil suit will follow so the family can try and rack up some money on a good man! all you people that talk trash about this preacher should know the man and then know the whole freakin story before you run your ignorant mouthes!!!!!!!!

Guess we will see when the lawsuit begins against everyone involded in spreading all these lies including the media. Trust me it's already underway. Don't talk shit about someone you know nothing about. I don't get my facts from liars or the media. I got it from the source.

The problem with this world is anyone will believe what is fed them. Wake up and use our head. People need to learn that everything you hear isn't truth.

Who would want a name such as Carolyn Ann? Delbert sounds a heck of alot better ! Leave this wonderful human being alone!
