Pastor convicted of molesting teen boy

Former Pastor Frederick Dew was found guilty of four counts of child molestation, including forced oral copulation. Drew faces 12 years, plus the 15 to life. It turns out that Dew has a history of sexual misconduct.

Lana Wyant, spokeswoman for the District Attorney's Office, said prosecutors have learned that Dew has a history of sexual misconduct, specifically three other incidents in southern California from 1994 to 2000. She said Dew's past is expected to be raised at his sentencing.

And so his story ends... I sure hope Dew likes prison. His rehabilitation is going to be painful.

I grew up with Pastor Dew at Greater Grace A.O.H Church of God in Monrovia, Ca...i feel more hurt for his Mother becuase she raised him..he had good mentors in the church scene. He had positive men...I'm just wondering if he did do this where did he go wrong and why didn't he think.Most ministers Study at Home (peace and Quiet) or in there vehicles...Any grown person that goes to childrens libraries with no children in there posession,..Something is wrong with that...Period

You shouldn't put the church name on here thats not appropriate I went to that church too and grew up in it before the church moved to monrovia when it was in pasadena. you could have just said you grew up in church with him in monrovia ca before he became a pastor.

Who told you that is was a children's Library? that's exactly what the media does, "make things up" I have personally been around him during that time, and just to clarify things he was studying and going over his word for a revival the next day.

And you know this how?? were you there? did you actually go in2 a court room and listen instead of watch the news, im sure not... you would have known that things didnt add up, like "the boy followed him into the bathroom" the media says that he followed the little boy. And I dont know any 13 year old boy now days that are that helpless and stupid, If a man touches you in a way to make you feel not comfortable then why the hell would you follow the same man in the bathroon!?!? and he wasn't placed under arrest he drove to the Police department for questioning. Plus the little boys friends said that he had a problem with telling stories, this is crazy, I really didnt expect to take sides cuz I was there, and I really dont like neither 1 of them, but what is right is right.

Were you there Mojoey? do you have any information about him other than what the media tells you? NO, you don't. I couldn't stand the man around that time, and to be honest to this day, but first if you have attempted to look at his case, the media even said "tried" and in the case, the boy was caught lying a few times. and this is not the first time that this boy has said something about someone like this before... did you read that anywhere? because it came out in court "I was there" I don't even like the guy, but thats from my own experiences with dealing with him, and the guy could be a perv. but the whole situation did not make any sense at all, and the case did not have no evidence, the jury said that they believe the child and that made the case.

I know Dew and I called him because one of our youth stated that he had did the same thing to him. I know dew well. He is my daughters God Brother. I am a shame because his mother and every one around him knew what he was doing. Because I talked to Dew and his mother and they changed there phone number. I went to Greater Grace AOH and im not ashamed to say who I am. My name is Erika. I wish I could of stoped him. But every one was scared to do any thing. I hate I interduce him to two differents churchs I am know at very well. God help the little people who were hurt by dew. As for every one that state it is not True (IT IS VERY TRUE) dew needs help and much prayer

the guy iz really sick i use to go to his sevrices and he see and feel the devil and allow it to come out his mouth I meber one day he called this bigger lady a bitch and her little boyfriend aunt also for being late and the relationship.sleep with kids in bed also with boxers on wow if that wasnt wrong i member him and his mom kidnapped some kids from the school kept comming to church like anything was wrong at all kids was at some other member house GOD dont play dont Fuck him cause he Gone give it to you

WOW, I think I know who you are, and you are really fucked up for telling that big ass lie, I really was just looking on here to see what was going on, I really dont care for the man myself but what is right is right and if its wrong its wrong, but dont lie to try to make it worse, I went to church and a lot of the events and that is bullshit to even imply that on them, get over your issues.

I have read soo much about this case, and It is really funny how everyone has there own opinion on what they think about a man they dont know based off what the media says, well I was a roomate of his and I can honestly say that the media has been completely off course! there objective was to make him look bad, and its funny how so many people ignorant to the situation just ate everything up, everyone who knew the little boy said that he lies, there was no evidence, and the boy said that he touched him in a isle, but yet the little boy followed him in the bathroom?!?!? Im not saying he is innocent, Im not saying he is guilty, because I DONT KNOW, I really dont like the man, but I feel bad for him because he has to go through this. there are people that have killed someone, shot someone, raped multiple kids, beat up people, kidnap, and this man, if he did it or not, didnt even Penetrate this boy, didnt hurt him, didnt force anything on him, and thats facts said in court. but yet he gets life?!?!? I think someone really needs to stop and think.

Every time I read this it makes me mad as hell I know he did sleep with the boy cuz he slept with me in my teens and we did it after church on a Wednesday night after bible study . After we had sex so many times we stop talking to eachother its sad. I never know he's a pastor this is a real mess just sad

I was once a member there @ one point funny how God work in different ways.
Pastor Dew was ike anyone of us a human.
Sad he went in for something like that.
I stop again I stopped going to service and believing
asking God how could the guy you sented for me to follow go down for such a thing .
I was fresh off the streets so me and him had our up's and down's. He as a pastor trying to get the street out of me and me trying to understand the word within/from him so I coud be a better man for myself. I never saw the situation comming. It was sad @ the end I hope everyone who has been effected by this one way or another is @peace or has open new doors in ife and this situation made you beieve more and see how Satan work just as hard. I believe again Still no church home. One day God woud guide me. To Fred Thanks for what I did received from you it wasnt easy but Ima change man today. God Bless.
