Ted Haggard's plan to move his family into the Phoenix area Dream Center has been officially thwarted. The clergy who run the center have categorically stated that Haggard will not be counseling anybody, nor will he and his family be moving into the Dream Center. Spokesman Mike Ware made it all very clear for Ted.
He will not be doing any ministry," Ware stated. "He will be seeking secular employment to support himself and his family.
That's right Ted, get a job. I hear Walmart needs a greeter.
Haggard was also slammed for soliciting donations to support him while he counseled people. Haggard earned $338K since 2006, begging for handouts while earning more than most people in the country (and while he still owns a monster house in Denver), is pathetic. When you add in the whole lying about his situation and including a known sex offender in his plans, Haggard exhibits all the "broken Christian" characteristics we have come to know and love.
I will be running a hypocrite of the year contest this December. Haggard is trying hard to land at the number 1 spot.
speaking of pastors and sex scandals

Greeter at Walmart is perfect! Might adversely impact on profits though.
ReplyDeleteBut is Ted Haggard in the Hypocrisy Hall of Fame?
