City of Angels Blog

I write about clergy sexual abuse. It’s a passion of mine now for about eight years. They I meet a lot of people who are involved in one way or another. Some are pastors, some are bystanders or witnesses, and some are victims. Meeting victims is the hardest thing I do. Reading their stories is easier, but not by much. The author of the City of Angels Blog is a victim of Catholic clergy sexual abuse in Los Angeles. She tells the story of abuse and accountability from the inside. Give her some love.

The behavior of the Church is sickening...and I am not referring to the abuse (that is clearly sickening). I am referring to the actions the Church has taken to cover this story up, relocate priests, discredit witnesses, etc. I have a hard time understand how anyone can call themselves a Catholic and not feel some shame. I truly do not understand how anyone can put money in the collection basket...

I agree completely. Putting money in that collection plate is almost like paying for the facilitation of child rape.
It is certainly paying for the cover-ups...
The Catholic church has become nothing more than an abomination, the people in the church should be held accountable.Only they can change this organization of child rape,or by their silence, and patronage endorse the acts committed against the kids of the Sheeple. They are a Cult of child abuse.Time for the sheep to wander too greener pastures.
