Dutch victims of Catholic clergy sexual abuse

I think we will find this pattern repeated in every country that has a Catholic presence.

to be fair i think we will find this kind of abuse in every country that has people. its just the the catholic chruch allows it in this form - other societies have it in different forms.

what does seprate it, though, is the horrific cover up and protection for the abusers.

I don't advocate it, but it is psychologically fascinating that we don't hear of revenge killings of priests and others who have done this sort of abuse. Has anyone heard of such?

The reason you don't hear about revenge killings of priest for sexual abuse is because the victims are made to feel guilty like it was their fault for letting this priest molest them;and even more repress the memory rather than dealing with it.
