A story of deconversion

It never occurred to me to deconvert. I was a Christian as a youth, and then not. I never looked back. I can understand why it could be important to others though. We Burned Our Bible in the Front Yard on ex-christian.net is a good deconversion read. Enjoy.

All I can say is, "Wow"! What a story!
I was forced to go to church and all it's activities till I was 16, but I never believed the crap they told me. So I guess, I never really deconverted.

I too, at a very young age develop a brain that was skeptical of religion. It would almost lead one to believe that some people are just hard wired to either follow the insane ramblings of any religious text they are programed with ,or not.
