The biggest thing that doesn't make sense is the argument: "once you ask him to reveal yourself to you, he will" because then you've ALREADY began to believe in him. Why would you ask something imaginary (in your mind) to reveal itself to you. It would never happen. Therefore, it's not something that happens after you ask (the revealing makes you believe), but rather something that happens prior to asking the question (you believe and therefore ask).
I remember one of those Jews for Jesus twits standing in Union Square station, yelling at someone. She'd just got into a shouting match with someone in a yarmulke; her (final) riposte was something along the lines of "you're not supposed to yell at a girl!" Meanwhile, she'd been pushing her Jews for Jesus idiocy upon all and sundry.
