Pastor Joe Flowers, Jr. arrested

JoeFlowers Pastor Joe Flowers, Jr. the senior pastor of the Walk of Life Christian Center, pleaded not guilty to charges that he had sex with a boy younger than 13.

Sara Vansrydonck, who is prosecuting the case, said the incidents involve one boy. The alleged incidents happened sometime between January of 2007 and March 31st of this year.

Pastor Flowers is another one of those self-appointed Bishops. He’s taken his website down so I’m unable to explore his stance of gay marriage. I’m willing to guess he’s in the anti-gay marriage camp given his link to T.D. Jakes.

I see from his bio he has a Bachelors of Science degree in Religion and Theology. How does science fit in with Religion and Theology?

How does a BSc fit in with religion and theology? Cold hard cash can make anything fit in the right place! ;) He apparently "obtained" one. Note, it doesn't say that he won, earned or gained it. Nor does it say where he "obtained" it. Attending the " very prestigious University of Rochester" doesn't mean he actually passed any courses there or even studied there.

I have always been amazed by the Christian defenders of sexual abuse how they like to use the phrase" Innocent until proven guilty ". When in every other aspects of Christian life they are the first to condemn others . They rant ,and rave that they're boy must be innocent,because they have known him for years ,and know he is innocent ! What they fail to realize is sexual predators spend a great deal of time cultivating people like them earning they're trust ,and living a secret life, full of the diabolical drive to commit such crimes. These men of faith when they commit these acts leave a wake of victims behind ,and they are the ones who were not only abused, but fooled .
