Bishop Eddie Long preached “Gays deserve death!”

On The Gist yesterday…

It's been reported on many blogs, citing the Southern Poverty Law Center, that antigay megachurch pastor Bishop Eddie Long, now at the center of a gay sex scandal, said about gays in a sermon in 2007, "God says you deserve death!" We have obtained the audio of that sermon, which has not been aired anywhere yet, and I'll be playing it on today's show, likely in the second hour (2 ET). And we'll be playing lots more from his sermons and taking your calls.

There’s one day left in Long’s career. The hater deserves a fall into obscurity.

You know what confused me about this whole situation he(Eddie Long) told the church quoted by Blackamericaweb. com that the court will judge him not the public opinion but what is funny is he gives his opinion to the public about homosexuality so is that that not judging and one time again what does the Bible say about throwing stones. Not one time in the Bible at least the ones i have read does it say the chruch is suppose to except only heterosexuals, I believed it say ( correct me if i am wrong) come as you are..... no limitations or expectations.
