Pastor Lee Palmer sentenced

Pastor Lee Palmer was convicted of two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, and one count of sexual abuse. He was sentenced to 19 years in prison. Palmer was unrepentant.

Mueller also cited Palmer's unwillingness to accept responsibility for his actions, stating that the man told investigators that he was "overcome by the demon of lust," that the victim was "asking for it," and that the victim was "in heat," when the assaults occurred, prosecutors said.

I don’t know what to say.

I often wonder, do these guys really believe the words that come out of their mouths, or are they taking advantage. Regardless,I believe that the average human is better than that.

If that's your bod, you're not sexy. And no, these people are COUNTERFEIT CHRISTIANS that Christ warned would proliferate in the end times. Seems Christ knew what He was talking about.

A few weeks back a few guys I was drinking beer with talked a little bout the sexual abuse you find in churches. It got me to thinking about why some might turn to the church and end up committing these acts. I wonder how many actually start going to church believing that by diving into the church the god they worship will take away the thoughts they have about abusing people sexually. I know when I was a kid I was always told that the christian god could heal all problems and how hard would it be for someone to believe going to church will stop the urges?
