Christian Terrorist who were ready to kill

The Hutaree are nutters. Their leader, David Stone, is a nutter. His followers are all nutters too. Or as I like to call them, Nutballs. They planned to kill anybody who stumbled upon their training sessions.

The leader of a Christian militia planned an elaborate, two-part training session for this month and told members it was OK to kill "anyone who might stumble upon the operation," federal prosecutors wrote in a court filing Friday.

David Stone is serious.

"If you're made, somebody comes tripping along, they just happen to see you, we're gonna handle it as a hostile situation," Stone said. "That means you put them on the ground."

All because they wanted to fight the anti-Christ. I don’t think they are mentally ill. No, I think they are Christians who took their delusion to a level few are willing to adopt. They are no different that fringe religious groups who adopt violence as part of their belief structure. Nutballs sure, but cultivated in the anti-intellectual desert known as conservative Christianity.

I do agree that this group took things further then most christians will at this time. I do believe that many of those calling this group false christians could and would take up arms if the right leader came forward. It wouldn't be hard for someone craving power over others to convince them that their beliefs were under attack and the only way to defend it was with acts of violence. I believe most christians are pron to violent acts anyway.
Just once I want someone to show me an atheist militia or hate group in North America. They can't. There aren't any. Just Google "Christian Militia or hate group", and see how many hits you get. Then do it for "atheist militia or hate group". Nada!

No, being part of a violent hateful and murderous deluded nut case group seems to require a special belief in the supernatural.

Are we allowed to redefine what makes someone an atheist? Are we allowed to redefine what makes a hate group? Are we allowed to redefine what christian means?
well..the definition of atheist is rather plain: no belief in god/gods.
well.. a hate group is already defined.
the definition of christian as per various dictionarys is also well defined.

Your attempt at the "their not TRUE Xtians" excuse not withstanding, those who accept Jebus as their personal savior and god are Christians.

See we don't make people atheists or not atheists based on how they act. There simple denial of supernatural is all it takes.
The fact that these Xtians don't behave to YOUR particular standards doesn't make them anyless worthy of the definition.

You don't like that bacon breath? Thats a shame.
Now.. show us a list of atheist hate groups that arm themselves, threaten governors and the peace, shout hate at gays, or jews or blacks or gays, or claim the god given right to racial superiority (or whose ever given right to racial superiority).
The work yourway to those atheist cults that kill themslves enmasse to find the mother ship or to avoid FBI capture.

Stop being such a asshole. You know it's true, Your attempt to side step and ignore reality proves that dec[ption and denial is a Christan sacrament.
Who said I was a christian? I'm not a christian but took the stance that is used by many christians when they try to defend their religion. I know they don't say they are redefining the words but that is what they do. Many christians seem to think that an atheist is someone that doesn't believe as them not the correct definition as you showed it.
When someone manages to convince himself that he has the only path to truth and that everyone else is subhuman, the door opens for this sort of thing. Religion seems to be the easiest path.
