SLOG: Youth pastor and pimp Clinton Danner

SLOG’s Youth Pastor Watch is a great way to keep up with hypocrites. This week Dan Savage reported on Clinton Danner. The wayward youth pastor who pimped his wife out for extra income.

ClintonDanner He initially forced her to have sex with strangers in Minnesota, but over the last six months “branched out,” sending her to New York, Georgia, Washington D.C. and Illinois, Antonietti said.

He’d often travel with her and their 3-year-old daughter, living out of a van while she was forced to prostitute herself, Antonietti added.

Danner used Craigslist to find sex partners for his young wife.

When he started pimping her out was he just calling himself a minister or was he actually one? I am betting it will be tough to get an answer but think I will try.

From what I understand he was working as a youth pastor at some point in the recent past.

You guys do not know what you are talking about!!! He was not and has never been a youth pastor! This makes me angry that stories get so stretched! :(

he was her youth pastor and he got her pregnant before she was 18, wen she turned 18 they got married. he was 28 at the time

he was not, nor has he ever been a youth pastor. he worked as a lead figure in the church for a while, however he was merely another member of the church. he played a very convincing role at turning his life around, obviously to no avail. he basically brainwashed her and convinced her to marry him after getting her pregnant. im not saying that shes innocent in this, but he definitely manipulated her and used his age to his advantage. this man is a pedophile and an outright horrible person. he simply used that church as his stalking grounds and was never truly into religion.

First if you have to use a name like honestly, it makes me wonder what you are hiding. You could be correct that he wasn't into religion but don't christians say you can't truly know what is in a mans heart only your god can know that? This means he could have been really into religion but because god wanted him to commit these acts you hide behind the he was no true christian claim. If you really want to use a name like honestly make sure you are being honest with yourself first before making claims you can't really know the full answer to.

We call this one the "no true Christian" excuse. All Christians are Christians until they fuck up and then they are not and never were.
