Pastor Jeff Kilburn arrested

JeffKilburn3 Pastor Jeff Kilburn and his wife Alice Kilburn both turned themselves in on charges they molested a 17-year-old boy.  The Kilburn’s ran a food ministry called Jeff Kilburn’s Kitchen. Jeff is also the pastor at Believer’s Ministries, which meets at Caesar’s Creek Pioneer Village Meeting AliceKilburnHouse.  This case is developing. Authorities are bringing in a special prosecutor because the Kilburns are related to Warren County Commissioner Mike Kilburn who plans to run against Jean Schmidt (D – Ohio) in 2010.

I cannot recall another Christian group sex allegation recently, so the Kilburn’s enter a whole new category of nuttiness. I wonder where the get there morals?

A grand jury charged them each with sexual imposition and child endangering in indictments released on Monday.

They are accused of having sex with the teen at Clark's Homeplace, the couple's South Lebanon ministry where Jeff Kilburn performed regularly with his Wildgrass bluegrass band.

You know that Jeff, he could sing the pants of a hungry teen.

Surprise, surprise! Oh, wait, not surprising at all.
It happens, probably more often than people think. It just doesn't always make the news. Only extreme stories like this and those who minister at large churches (or in Ted Haggard's case, both!) do.
And another bastion of bullshit destroyed by monkey sex. Just goes to show, you can lie to anyone, even yourself, but that won't make it so.

The sad part is, they'll never learn. They might grovel and beg for forgiveness, counting on their dogma to force believers to give it to them. They might blame temptation and/or Satan. They will never take ownership of the fact that this is who they are.

I was a member of his bible school back in 2004...he never seemed the type to do anything like this, I've know him for a few years now. This is not act of something he would do, someone is not telling the truth, I just don't believe he would do this.

You all are going to think what you want. I know all three parties involved very well, the teen since birth, the other 2 for 30+ years. It's not something I wanted to hear at all, but sadly enough I know it's true!

I doubt that these charges are true. Keff Kilburn is a good man. He has sacrificed himself for the people in his community for years. He just doesn't appear to be he kind of person who could be guilty of these accusations. The free food, free entertainment, and care he has given to his neighbors should earn him the dignity of fair treatment. Even in this blog.
Why was I never so lucky at 17? I'd have given Mrs. Kilburn anything she wanted- she's a hotty! What kinda weeny boy tells daddy and the police?
Don't be so hard on these folks for adding a little spice to life. You shouldn't condemn them and forget all the good things they've done.
Jeff has done dirty dealings through the churches for 20 years!

Looks as if he not only had issues with Mr. Barker

He filed charges on his own family the same day.

And he filed on his own brother 3 weeks after that. I guess he didn't like it when his own brother thought he was sickening as well!

After reading others post and replies, since you think he's such a good person, maybe you should look at his past with the warren county court, he has several issues where he's been decieving the churches for the past 20 years!
if u know jeff like some ppl do he helps many ppl that is the truth but he uses thtat an god to make his maoney and as a cover up u are not supposed to make money of god an if u r a "christian" your not supposd to party all the time and get drunk.... and i kno of other ppl hes done this to he is sick along with her.... i used to go down ther unfortunatly...i didnt think he was the type of person then but he is very deceiving
It all sounds very fishy to me.
Jeff is still sitting in Warren county Jail, while Alice was moved to Butler county corrections today.

Well it seems to me that if all the people that claim to have faith in those two really did then they would pass that offering plate one more time and pull their money together to at least retain them a lawyer. Come to find out they have no lawyer and nobody will help them, but I've read posts on several different sites where people want to build them up of what good people they are and that they will always support them. If that's the case, then they should put up or shut up. They all talk of how Jeff helped them, then if they truly belive in him they should return the favor don't you think? You see, the problem is that deep down they know the truth and don't want to admitt that they were fooled by him also, so instead the morons keep supporting him!

i lived right across the street from them, and when i was moving in they helped me. but i never expected this from them. guess it goes to show that you really never know a person 100% even if they are your neighbor.

For you to say yes, then you don't know Terry at all! He would die for his son. He has raised him by himself since the boy was an infant! Nobody could ever be closer to Terry than his son. And yes, your right, we'll all find out. Pretrial is January 20th, then a conference is set for Feb. 25th, and a 2 day jury trial has been set for March 4 & 5th, that is the schedule at this moment. I'm sure it will be interesting.

everone that went down there knew things were not right. we were just so happy to be entertained in his place, and listen to the music , we just looked the other way, and hoped no one saw anything. he had good family that also worked there in the kitchen,in the band and selling tickets for more money. we all so somethings going on there that was not right. jeff and alice got louder and happier as they drank their tea,we all remember, we just didn't want to admit it to ourselfs.

I think these demented comments are just like the allegations against my brother and sister are, sick minded from Satan. I have known jeff for way too many years, to get anyone to make me believe anything such as that against him. He is a man of GOD and needs the prayers of good people, not the gall of others to throw unfounded comments about him.

don"t you think sometimes god gives us the insight to see things the way they really are , even if it's all true and ti hurts us?
I feel sorry for people who are so anxious to see what isn't there. I thought we all were supposed to be innocent until proven guilty?

Kilburns plead guilty to sex crimes
By Staff Report
Updated 10:32 AM Monday, May 24, 2010
LEBANON — A couple that ran a South Lebanon ministry has pleaded guilty to sex crimes in a plea hearing today, May 24, in Warren County Common Pleas Court.
Jeff and Alice Kilburn were accused of sexual imposition and child endangering in an incident with a 16 year old that occurred at their Clark HomePlace ministry in South Lebanon last summer.
Both plead guilty to sexual imposition, a misdemeanor, and were sentenced to 60 days in jail and put on two years probation. The jail sentence was suspended for both and they were ordered to stay away from the teenager.

Alice Kilburn plead guilty to a Alford plea, which means she admitted to the facts of the case, but maintains her innocence. According to the facts read in court, Alice Kilburn had sexual contact with the 16 yeard old at Clark HomePlace on McKinley Street in South Lebanon during the summer of 2009
The couple will be classified Tier I sexual offenders and will be ordered to report their residence to the sheriff’s office annually for the next 15 years.
Jeff Kilburn ran the religious ministry meeting house and played with his band Kilburn Wildgrass at the facility, which closed July 10. Last summer, Jeff Kilburn said health issues forced him to shut the doors at HomePlace. He denied any wrong doing at that time.
The Kilburns live in Massie Twp., where Jeff Kilburn is pastor of Believer’s Ministries, which meets at Caesar Creek Pioneer Village Meeting House, according to his Web site.
Adams County Prosecutor Aaron Haslam served as a special prosecutor in the matter because the Kilburns are related to Warren County Commissioner Mike Kilburn.

he and alice should have been off to jail. instead the Pioneer VIllage is not only letting them live on the property as caretakers, they are letting him be a board member. They are constantly around children and need to removed from the Pioneer Village. They are going to be the downfall of the Village. They solicited money from a lot of supporters because they claimed to be innocent. Instead they go in and plead guilty. They collected close to $10,000 grand from people that thought they were innocent. They claim to be your friend and will turn against you in a heartbeat. I can not get them out of the village on my own. Any one who agrees with me should contact the ODNR office 513-897-3055 because they lease the land from them and complain about having a sex offender on state property where children are constantly available.

CCPV needs to be thoroughly cleaned out. New people need to come in & set the place to rights. The education of history is a joke, nothing but a big old dog & pony show.
