Youth Pastor Jeff Frodermann guilty

frodermann2 Jeffrey(Jeff) Frodermann, the youth Pastor at Sebeka United Methodist Church in Minnesota, agreed to a plea deal to settle a charge of sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl. Um… sexual contact in this case was having sex with a 13-year-old girl. What’s troubling in this case is the relatively light sentence.

The plea was finalized Thursday evening, and according to the Menahga Chief of Police Scott Koennicke, Frodermann will likely spend six months behind bars and another six on house arrest.

Frodermann will also have a nine year probation period and have to register as a sex offender, but Quentin Ness, who lives across the street from the church and has three daughters of his own, does not believe the punishment was harsh enough.

Six months? That’s a slap on the wrist. What are they thinking?

I’d like to know the real story in this case. There is no press coverage and Frodermann has cleaned his online footprints pretty well. All I really have on the douche  is his booking photo and two articles. Of course, Sebeka has a population of 710, so what was I expecting?

I don't think the sentence is light compared with others convicted of this type of crime. I can't be sure but I have seen a lot of the sentences aren't that long but could be wrong.

I was present at the trial and the conviction was "SEXUAL CONTACT WITH A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL WHO ADMITTED TO INSTIGATING THE MATTER AND BEGGED THE COURT TO NOT PUT JEFF IN JAIL."

So please remove your false comment that Jeff "HAD SEX WITH A 13 YEAR OLD GIRL" because that's a blatant lie, it's slander, and it's illegal. Thank you.

This Frodermann is a scumbag...He was 28 years old, the girl was 13 years old....she and her family put their trust in him. 180 days is way to light for this loser....

I am not saying that what he did isn't wrong, only that there is none of us who is without having some issues to deal with in society. Thankfully the bible and all it has to offer including forgiveness doesn't say that we also won't have to deal with punishment on this earth. I am sorry that you feel that the bible is not applicable in your life or Jeff's. I know that he is probably feeling pretty crappy about his choices too. He is his own way will be punished for this choice and the laws will punish him for the rest of his life. Young girls need protection, I agree. We cannot forget the humanity within all of us.

Sometimes people plea bargain not because they are guilty but because they are faced with a justice system that bribes them with a light sentence as in this case. If you were faced with a sentence of years of prison in a case of he said/she said with no way to prove or dissprove your innocence due to lack of evidence or witnesses, what would you do? I would like to think that I would stand my ground if I was innocent but then I have never been in that situation. Maybe a person is just so scared of the justice sytem failing and being sent to jail for something they didn't do. I know he plead guilty and so now we can say he is guilty because of his own admission but I personally have known this man since he was a boy and he is not a pervert or an animal or whatever you want to call him. It is a sad case, terribly sad for all of the people it has affected.

I guess this shows just how little you might actually know someone. How many people have been married for years and one of them is cheating and the other never knows? No matter how good you think you know someone you can never fully know them.

How do we know this girl didn't lie? I work with sex offenders on a daily basis and I believe this is very sketchy and the girl has issues. He took a plea agreement...doesn't mean he really did it.

us GIRL can say any guy RAPED us and the guy can to FUCK jail! think about it long a hard. people loved this man. he did so much GOOD in Sebeka and where he lived. this girl is a BITCH for opening her mouth. he would never do that to her! for one this man look like a guy that had a lot going for him. NOW think long and hard! we all do soming wrong in life, SO PLEASE FIND IT IN YOUR SELF TO BE NICE TO THIS MAN YOU DO NOT KNOW!

I think that the girl is a retard because she is the one that wanted it. Also Jeff should of known better not to do it with her. I think that he is innocent and should not go to jail because he is a good Christan man and should deserve the respect that we usually give him. So STOP saying mean stuff about Jeff because it is wrong to say stuff about someone that you don't even know all that well. If you need any help why don't you go to God and ask for forgiveness of what you did.
