Pastor's wife arrested in murder case

I present further evidence that being a Christian, reading the bible, and listening to sermons have little influence on ones morality. Verginia Lee, the wife of a pastor, was arrested for murder.

Even though four years have passed since 43 year old George Green was found shot to death in his Liberty home Detective George Atwood with Kentucky State Police never gave up on the investigation.

Police say 40 year old Verginia Lee, the wife of a Liberty United Methodist Church pastor, is charged with murdering Green.

I’ll never get it. Why kill a man over a simple argument? Is that Christian?

Melissa Huckaby is still worse. Maybe not a pastor's wife, but Sunday school teacher.

Verginia Lee is not guilty. The case should be dropped. People sometimes forget that good people get accused of crimes they did not commit. You judge without knowing the details. Shame on you. Talk about hypocrisy you are the apitimy of hypocrisy. Pray that the disturbed person who is accusing Mrs. Lee will get the therapy he needs.

Calling yourself a Christian no more makes you one than me calling myself a frog makes me one. I can sit on a lilypad all day long and croak til the moon is full, but that won't make me a Christian.

Professing Christians are a dime a dozen, but REAL ones are a bit more rare. A real Christian would never do the things this woman has done. You are right. Reading the Bible and listening to sermons does not make you a Christian. A REAL Christian has been transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit and has a new nature that hates sin and avoids it at all costs. Scripture is clear. If you are truly a Christian, then you will act like one.
