Life sentence for youth pastor Matthew Anderson

Don't worry Matthew. A life sentence for a pedophile in Texas is actually only about three years. Your sentence will end in no time.

A former New Braunfels youth pastor was sentenced Thursday to life in prison for sexually assaulting a teenage boy.

Jurors took 45 minutes to decide punishment on Matthew Andersen, who was found guilty Wednesday on seven counts of sexual assault and indecency with a child.

Because Andersen had a prior conviction in a similar case in 2003 while he was a youth pastor in Alabama, a relatively new Texas law provided for "enhanced punishment," which made the defendant eligible to receive a life sentence.

Before the friends and family of Matthew Anderson object to my callousness, let me just say that you reap what you sow. I’ll be sure to post his obituary if it makes the press.

I certainly hope this good Christians demise at the hands of his fellow inmates doesn't come too quickly, nor too painlessly.

Let's see how much good his prayers do him during shower time.

this man was actually my youth pastor growing up. he always sided with the guys. huntsville alabama. chase valley. my mom always said something about how he would just do activities with guys. he got kicked out of our church for misleading the kids. middle schoolers by the way. and said he moved to texas but i guess went to a church new life down the road where he raped some boy. who knows who else it happened too. Im glad he is in prison and i wish i would see him burn to death in an electric chair. church has never been the same

Whoa! crazy stuff, i worked with this guy, in 02-03 something about him gave me bad vibes, kept my distance.
