Paul said in Romans 13:1-3 that all rulers are chosen by God. That to rebel against any ruler is an act of rebellion against God. That rulers never do evil to the good citizen, so theyhave nothing to fear.

Paul was a fucking asshat. I assume he changed his mind just before Nero cut his empty head off.
Now, to be a good chrstian you need to be a Paulist. If you don't buy into that, and all the other absurdities of the New testament, then you're not A "TRUE" Christian.
Here's a thought, try reading the Bible, all its grotesque genocides, rapes, murders endorsed by your super being; read the contradictions, reversals, interpolations, driven by political agendas and cultural differences between the writers. Then check out some scholarly works like "Who Wrote the Bible", or "The Incredible Shrinking Son of Man', or "Misquoting Jesus".
