Does this poster exist in a more detailed version, with more labels? It seems like a complex idea reduced to graphic minimalism.
ReplyDeleteI like the idea of portraying the "tree of life" as a wheel; also, since it attempts to represent species in some proportion to their actual numbers/importance in the biospehre, it de-emphasizes some of the zoocentrism that still plagues much of biology, including in such popular science tomes as Dawkins's The Anscestor's Tale.
