I rode the Grand Canyon Railroad from Williams, Arizona to the Grand Canyon over the Thanksgiving Holidays. The trip was a wonderful experience - but cold. Williams got as low as the 30s, the Grand Canyon was at least as cold. The train can be crowded. I recommend buying tickets in the club car; it has a full service bar and fewer people. The trip is about two hours - the scenery is wonderful.
