My first witch sighting
Those who follow Wicca have fascinated me for years. It is the only recent pseudo religion that you can follow back to its roots in make believe. I need to do a couple of posts on nutball Wiccans, because there are a few!
I normally post these type of shot to my bumper stick blog, but since it was my first witch sighting I thought it appropriate to post it here under the nutball category. The funny thing is... well I thought she saw me take a picture because she followed me home, right up to my driveway in fact. I was thinking of a good excuse for photographing her on the sly when I noticed she had turned into the driveway to the house across the street. My neighbor is a witch – too cool.
You sicken me calling us wiccans nuts go study the religion
ReplyDeleteoh come on - Wiccans just made it all up. Wicca is not a religion, it is a hobby.
ReplyDeleteActually, Wicca is a religion. You see, ALL religions are man-made.
ReplyDeleteNow, calling ALL Wiccans "nuts" is just ignorant, but there's no law that says you can't do it.
I personally think the "nuts" are the ones that fly airplanes into buildings, and the ones that bomb abortion clinics. However, I would not go as far as to call ALL Muslims, or ALL Christians "nuts".
Know why?
'Cause I'm not ignorant!
A religion? no shit.
ReplyDeleteI happen to think anybody who signs up for Wicca has a screw loose. It based on Wicca be a make it up as you go belief system. It wants to be a religion, but it more like fantasy role playing.
And yes - all religion is man made. Only most Americans have an inherent belief in a God, not the fairy queen. So you see, I don't call all religious people nuts, only those who play the Wicca game.
Wicca a Religion? - Thats totally fucking hilarious.
The "Fairy Queen"? WTF?
ReplyDeleteChrist, nevermind...
Nice hat, Indy.
FUCK YOU! FUCK YOU! think off all the people the "logical" religeons logically the christian cross has inspired more fear then the pentacle so seriously go fuck yourselves or bother to read a book if you ignorant stupid can. In fact if we "have a screw loose" why dont you just summarise what you know about us first ?
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry but you don't make any sense. Why are you talking about fear when I'm talking about the fact that your "faith" is made up. You might as well be playing D&D.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Tony, all religion is man made and everyone has the right to believe in something, as if u have an opinion in-regards to an issue, that's also ur right. for god sake people, the Romans crucified jesus christ for claiming to be the king of the Jews, the great future leader/savior who would appear during a period of extreme desperation and crisis known as the End Times (or Last Days) and they saw him as a threat to their self-proclaimed authority. and now he is loved/feared/worship upon by millions of people in the world especially by the very own people who crucified him around the 1st century AD. my point is, is that, jesus was just a "MAN", bringing hope to people in desperate times, and throughout the years that have come and go, we the "people" have carried his story throughout the years because we need hope, hope that somewhere out there we are not alone, like for example someone believing in aliens, now im not going to tell them that their insane "out there minds" or nuts, as you or me have never been in space, we've never explored what is really out there, we dont know the truth, there are billions upon billions of galaxies out there to even explore so whos really to say... and trust me when i say im not the religious type. just opened minded :D and that everyone has a right to believe and to an opinion.
ReplyDeleteheyyy guys ???
ReplyDeleteSuch silliness. Of course Wicca is a religion!
ReplyDeleteI'm Pagan, and have been for about 10 years. To say that Pagans "aren't real" is as odd as saying that Hindus or Jews "aren't real".
Lol, where do people come up with their ideas about what is and isn't religion?
That is easy... your "faith" created itself in the 20th century. It's totally made up. Hindus and Jews - made up too. The difference is we can clearly see the point at which your "faith" was created, so it easier to make fun of it.
